The property has lovely characteristics, very old house with lovely traditional decorations. Does have tight staircases, but was absolutely fine for us. It is an old house and you get what you pay for, but the member of staff working for most of our stay was incredible! We had an issue with our card not working out of hours, they quickly came to help and got us a new room card. Room was clean, bed was VERY comfortable but could do with a couple new pillows - not the end of the world! Can get a free coffee between 9am-12pm at the bar, as the rooms are too small for self service, which was great and very tasty! They have a hotel cat who is an adorable sphinx type cat, very friendly and sat on my lap numerous times. Certainly added to the family owned vibes and I shall miss the little fellow. Honestly can’t fault this hotel, you get what you pay for and we went with an open mind just wanting a great location for a cheap price. After all, you’re only sleeping in the hotel and showering, the rest of the day you’re walking around exploring.

Highly recommend!! I liked very much everything. Since the family who runs the place, Marco, his mon Nada, his son Jordy and the team. Everybody is very friendly and extremely kind!!! The location is more than perfect!! Exactly everything that is promised in the announce is delivered to you! I got exactly what I was expecting from the facilities and all for the price I've paied. Get the chance to go at front-desk from 9am to 11am and drink the complimentary coffee or tea and interact! You will feel at home!!! The remark for some people is that the house is stairs-only. No lift. For me, it was ok. But, maybe for others is something to be taken into account. As someone wiser than me once told me: "your vibe attracts your tribe!" So, go to RembrandtPlein Hotel exhaling good energy and for sure, goods things will be given in return to you! Plus: the beds were amazingly comfortable!! I stayed at Room 8. All the best!!! Pedro.

A beautiful old style type of building typical of Amsterdam. If you are looking for all mod cons and modern gadgets, then I suggest you look elsewhere. I booked the Rembrandtplein because of its old style charm and its location beside the canal. I am a solo female traveller, and I thought the location was perfect for exploring. The rooms are a good proportion for an older building. My room was spotlessly clean. The extra pillows I requested prior to my stay were neatly placed on the bed on arrival. I have a bad back, and I usually always suffer pain to some degree when staying in a hotel bed. However, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that their beds are very comfortable, and I have barely an ache. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I would absolutely stay here on my next trip to Amsterdam and highly recommend an authentic hotel with true original character and charm.

Highly Recommended Hotel in the Heart of Amsterdam We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel in the heart of Amsterdam, located in the UNESCO World Heritage district of Rembrandtplein. The owner is hands-on, friendly, and incredibly helpful, making us feel right at home. The front office staff, Kristena Cassandra, is exceptionally welcoming and thoughtful, offering great assistance to tourists like us who are new to the city. Their warm hospitality truly made our experience unforgettable. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Amsterdam.

Great location. Around the corner from a lovely cafe , yet still in a quite corner of the city. Easily walkable ! Amazing staff who provided coffee in the morning and excellent recommendations for fun Amsterdam activities!
